A Community Mourns Maverick Flinn
Four-year-old Maverick Flinn, known for his “laughter and boundless energy,” tragically died in a farm accident on June 23, along with his great-grandmother, Nancy Ann “Nanny” Fox. He had been riding with his great-grandfather on a combine when the fatal accident occurred.

As grief swept through Seymour, Indiana, neighbors rushed in to help. “They brought food and brought equipment… and they harvested 12 days’ worth of wheat in 24 hours,” said his uncle, Zach Flinn.

A Safety Message and Moving Forward
To honor him, the Flinns promote the “Maverick Minute,” urging farmers to pause and check equipment surroundings. “We’re going to continue on in his honor,” Zach said. “We’re going to try to make sure this never happens again.”
