How It Happened
According to police, the father, exhausted, fell asleep holding the child in the early hours of Monday.
The baby slipped, and rescuers from SAMU confirmed the infant was already dead when they arrived.
The Military Police and Forensic Medical Institute were notified, and family members are being heard as part of the investigation.
