Schiff Could Face Fines, Prison Time
Whistleblower Claims Could End Adam Schiff’s Career
Newly declassified FBI reports and a Democrat whistleblower’s claims are putting Sen.
Adam Schiff (D-CA) under serious scrutiny.
The whistleblower, who worked for Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee,
alleges that Schiff approved leaking classified information
during the Trump–Russia investigation to damage then-President Donald Trump.
According to Just The News, the whistleblower told the FBI that Schiff told staff the leaks “would be used to indict President Trump.”
When the whistleblower objected, he was reportedly told “we would not be caught.”
He says he was later fired after going to the FBI — which, he claims, took no action.
Former U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman warned Schiff could face fines of up to $250,000 per leak
and possibly 20 years in prison if prosecutors find intent “to undermine the United States.”
Schiff has not yet responded to the new allegations but has previously denied ever leaking classified material.
