Top FBI Official Speaks Out With
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino raised alarm online, saying recent findings “shocked me down to my core”
and vowing to uncover “the truth” about alleged government corruption.
His comments follow growing controversy over the FBI’s handling of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
Bongino has pushed for the release of Epstein’s alleged client list and was reportedly willing to resign over how the issue was managed.
Tensions rose after the DOJ announced that no additional individuals named in the files would face charges, and Bongino briefly failed to report to work.
Reports claim former President Trump was angered by Bongino’s public criticism.
A DOJ source said Bongino considered resigning if Attorney General Pam Bondi stepped down.
The Wall Street Journal reported Bondi told Trump his name appeared in the files.
While Trump has not been charged,
he has said a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell is something he “hasn’t thought about.”
