Pentagon Unveils Inside Story Of Secret Iran Strike

US Strikes Iran’s Nuclear Sites
President Trump confirmed the US destroyed three major Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. Iran’s president called it a “very successful attack,” saying the sites were “completely and totally obliterated.” Iran acknowledged the hits but denied major damage. Their foreign minister called the US actions “extremely dangerous, lawless, and criminal” with “everlasting consequences.”

Operation Midnight Hammer Details
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth described the mission, saying, “Our B-2s went in and out of these nuclear sites… without the world knowing at all – in that way it was historic.” However, videos of the bombers surfaced online, prompting skepticism about the “stealth” claim.

Attack Execution and Tactics
Air Force General Dan Caine explained the attack involved “75 precision guided weapons and more than 125 aircraft,” with some used as decoys. The B-2 bombers launched from the US, refueling multiple times during the 18-hour mission. “A US submarine… launched more than two dozen tomahawk land attack cruise missiles,” he said. The operation used deception and suppression tactics to avoid enemy defenses.
