A Mother’s Miracle
Amanda Foster from Kentucky calls her latest pregnancy a “modern-day miracle.” In April 2022, she shared an ultrasound saying her unborn son Jay had “healthy kidneys, no cysts and perfect blood flow to and from,” and was “Potter syndrome free.” She previously lost a son to the rare condition at 20 weeks.
Fears and Faith
Now pregnant with another boy, Kyler, doctors found a serious heart defect. Foster wrote, “Each time before ultrasounds I’ve dropped to my knees right in the doctor’s office to pray over Kyler.”
A Hand in the Scan
At a recent scan, her daughter noticed something unusual. “She asked me whose hand that was,” Foster said. “In one of his pictures it has the appearance of a hand holding his head.”
Healthy and Growing
At 36 weeks, Foster shared, “Our chunky boy is going to be the biggest baby I’ve officially ever had.”
