Teen Mom Star Reflects on Parenthood
Leah Messer rose to fame on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2 after becoming a mom to twins at 16. Now 32, she appears on Teen Mom:
The Next Chapter, sharing life with her 15-year-old twins, Aliannah and Aleeah, and 11-year-old daughter Adalynn.
Breaking Generational Cycles
Teen pregnancy runs in Leah’s family. “It was normal,” she told Vogue. “That was the life for many women before me.”
Determined to change that, she adds, “It’s the little things… open conversations… that I think will be enough to break the cycle.”
Raising Teenagers
As her daughters enter dating, Leah admits, “I have a hard time accepting the whole relationship.
Right now, it’s too young.”
She warns, “All it takes is an unplanned pregnancy.”
Ali’s Health Journey
Ali was diagnosed with a rare muscle disease in 2014.
“We don’t know what the future really looks like… but we’re going to enjoy every single moment,” Leah says.
