Teen Lured to Death by Girlfriend, Say Authorities
16-year-old Trey Dean Wright was fatally shot on June 24, 2025, in Florence County, South Carolina.
His final moments were captured on video.
“The victim was discovered laying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds,”
said the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
Deadly Setup
Trey’s girlfriend, 17-year-old Gianna Kistenmacher, allegedly lured him to a remote road where 19-year-old Devin Raper shot him.
Authorities say Kistenmacher knew the situation “would likely lead to death.”
‘It Was All a Childish Act’
Trey’s mother, Ashley Lindsey, said her son expected only a fistfight.
“How do you go from s**t talking to killing somebody?” She rejected claims of a love triangle, saying,
“He told me just two days before he was killed that being with Gianna felt like a dream come true.”
Video Evidence and More Arrests
“A lot of times the people involved record the event,” said Maj. Mike Nunn.
Eight teens now face charges in Trey’s death.
