Charlie Kirk’s wife Erika describes

Erika Kirk on Husband’s Final Moments

After Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on September 10,

his widow Erika shared the haunting details of seeing his body.

What She Saw

“His eyes were semi-open,” she told The New York Times.

“And he had this knowing, Mona Lisa-like half-smile.

Like he died happy.

Like Jesus rescued him.

The bullet came, he blinked, and he was in heaven.”

Her Memorial Speech

At Sunday’s service before 60,000 people, Erika recalled: “I saw the wound that ended his life…

I felt horror and a level of heartache I didn’t even know existed.

But even in death, I could see the man that I love.”

Peace in Death

Doctors confirmed Kirk’s passing was instantaneous.

Erika added: “There was no pain, no fear, no agony…

One moment Charlie was debating on campus, then he blinked and saw his savior in paradise.”
