Angelina Jolie Is Selling Her House & Leaving The Country
Angelina Jolie, 50, is preparing to sell her historic Los Angeles estate and move abroad. The Maria star “plans to put the house up for sale” as she explores relocation options, a source told PEOPLE. Jolie “never wanted to live in L.A. full time” but stayed due to her custody arrangement with ex-husband Brad Pitt, finalized in December 2024.
She plans to leave once twins Knox and Vivienne, 17, turn 18 next year. “She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles,” the source said.

The 1913-built mansion, bought in 2017 for $24.5 million, is a 11,000-square-foot architectural landmark once owned by Cecil B. DeMille. “It’s a historic masterpiece,” the source added.
Jolie says her future lies overseas for “privacy, peace, safety.” She will spend “a lot of time in Cambodia,” which she calls “the one place in my heart that I consider home.”
