Colbert Responds to News
“I found out just last night, next year will be our last season,” Colbert told his audience. “I’m not being replaced. This is all just going away.”

Gratitude and Farewell
Colbert expressed thanks to CBS and viewers: “I’m so grateful to the Tiffany network for giving me this chair and this beautiful theater to call home.”
Legacy and Controversy
Hosting since 2015, Colbert turned the show into a top-rated, politically sharp program. Recently, he criticized Paramount for settling Donald Trump’s lawsuit over a 60 Minutes interview, which some insiders feared could impact a merger with Skydance.
