Ceasefire Fractured: Israel To Hit Iran With Heavy Strikes
Alleged Ceasefire Breach
Israel accused Iran of breaking the ceasefire after detecting missiles allegedly fired from Iran on June 24. Israel’s defence minister warned of “intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran.”
Iran’s Denial and Position
Iran denies launching any missiles post-ceasefire. Iranian foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said, “As Iran has repeatedly made clear: Israel launched war on Iran, not the other way around.” He added Iran would stop if Israel halts aggression by 4 am Tehran time, but “The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later.”
US President’s Role
US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, stating, “THE CEASEFIRE IS NOW IN EFFECT. PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT!” He claimed both nations came to him with peace, saying, “The World, and the Middle East, are the real WINNERS!”
Hope for Peace
Trump expressed optimism: “The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED, & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!” He urged both sides to stay on the path of “RIGHTEOUSNESS & TRUTH” to secure peace and prosperity.
