Democratic Party Enters ‘Death Spiral’ As Voter

Democrats Losing Ground
The Democratic Party is in crisis, losing millions of registered voters while Republicans gain.

“This isn’t just a dip — it’s a potential death spiral for the Democratic Party,” said Michael Pruser, director of data science for Decision Desk HQ.

A New York Times analysis shows Democrats lost 2.1 million voters across 30 states from 2020 to 2024, while Republicans gained 2.4 million.

Battlegrounds and Strongholds
Key states are shifting Republican. North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada saw major Democratic losses, and even strongholds like New York and California saw hundreds of thousands leave the party.

Nationally, Democrats’ registration lead shrank from 11 points to just over six.

New Voters Tilt GOP
For the first time since 2018, more new voters registered as Republicans than Democrats.

“The Democratic Party is hemorrhaging voters long before they even go to the polls,” the Times reported.

Analysts Sound Alarm
Former strategist Dan Turrentine admitted, “the Republicans have leapt so far ahead of us that we now have a serious problem.”

Mark Halperin noted Democrats ignored warning signs for too long.
