Miss Kay Faces Loss and Health Battles
Miss Kay Robertson is enduring one of the hardest times of her life after losing her husband of 60 years, Phil Robertson, on May 25 due to Alzheimer’s. Her son Willie shared, “She lost her 60-year partner,” and added, “We’re doing everything we can to support her.”
Health Concerns and Depression
Miss Kay was absent from the June 1 Duck Dynasty: The Revival premiere. Willie explained, “Some of it is, she is just depressed.” Earlier in April, she suffered a fall and serious infection. “We were sort of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it,” said Jase Robertson.
Ongoing Care and Family Support
Now requiring 24-hour care at “Kay’s Kingdom,” Miss Kay is surrounded by family. “My mom is not doing well physically,” Jase added, “but we’re trying our best to lift her spirits.”
