Elon Musk with brutal comeback after…

Bono, Springsteen Slam Trump and Musk Over Aid Cuts

U2 frontman Bono and music legend Bruce Springsteen are taking public shots at Donald Trump and Elon Musk, criticizing their roles in recent government spending cuts.

Springsteen’s Rebuke

During a concert, Springsteen accused Trump of harming working-class Americans and ignoring the poor: “In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death.”

Bono on DOGE

Bono joined the criticism on The Joe Rogan Experience, targeting the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—a cost-cutting agency under Trump and briefly led by Musk. Bono cited a Boston University study warning that DOGE’s cuts could have deadly consequences: “There’s food rotting in boats, in warehouses – 50,000 tons of it,” he said. “The people who knew the codes, who were responsible for distributing that aid, were fired. That’s not America, is it?”

Musk Fires Back

Musk denied the claims, saying on X: “Zero people have died” due to DOGE cuts and called Bono “such a liar” and “an idiot.” He also referenced South Park, saying they “were right” about Bono.
