Fox News’ Steve Doocy, co-host of Fox & Friends, has been married to Kathy Gerrity since 1986. Their love story began at WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., where Kathy worked as a model and reporter.

The couple shares three children, including Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy. Their daughters, Mary and Sally, have built careers in law and media.
A Life-Altering Diagnosis
In 2015, Kathy was diagnosed with ocular melanoma. Steve emotionally recalled, “We were trying to keep my wife alive.” Thankfully, after treatment, Kathy was declared cancer-free. Her journey now helps raise awareness for early eye cancer detection.
New Generations
Steve and Kathy recently became grandparents again. Peter and his wife Hillary Vaughn welcomed their second child, George Jack, on April 16, 2025—also their fourth anniversary.
