Wearing the group’s shirt, he introduced himself: “I’m Eric. An actor, a father, and now a person living with ALS.”
Fans noticed slurred speech and twitches, signs of his diagnosis revealed earlier this year.
Push for Progress Campaign
Dane urged donations for Push for Progress, aiming to raise $1 billion in three years for research,
treatment access, and renewed legislation.
“We have to do it now,” he said.
Missed Emmy Tribute
His post followed his absence from the 2025 Emmys,
where he was set to reunite with Jesse Williams for Grey’s Anatomy’s 20th anniversary tribute.
Williams presented alone.
