Grandmother’s craft store sees influx of new visitors
Grandma’s Shop Gets Viral Boost
A quiet craft shop in Holdingford, Minnesota, saw a big surprise thanks to a loving grandson and a viral post.
A Grandson’s Gesture
Rosanne Forster has run Forster’s Craft Corner for nearly 30 years, but sales slowed. Her grandson Tyler Larson, 18, posted on Facebook:
“I would love for her to have some more business. You don’t have to buy anything if you don’t want to, just showing up and sharing a chat would be more than enough.”
Visitors Pour In
The post brought in dozens of new customers. Forster, who doesn’t use the internet, said:
“It’s been fun, and I’ve met a lot of wonderful people… they went out of their way just to come to see me and help me out.”
A Memorable Goodbye
Before heading to college, Larson said: “I think it was a great, great way to end off the summer.”
Forster added: “Every single person that came says, ‘I’m here because of your grandson.’”
