HEARTWARMING STORY: Bo Nix Launches
Bo Nix Opens $5 Million Sanctuary for Stray Dogs
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is earning praise off the field for his compassion toward animals.
On September 29, he opened “Puppy Haven,” a $5 million sanctuary in Denver dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating homeless dogs.

“There are so many dogs left on the streets, uncared for, and without hope,” Nix said.
“They deserve to be protected, healed, and given a home.”
The facility offers 24/7 veterinary care, spay/neuter programs, and recovery spaces to help dogs heal and find families.
“This isn’t just about saving lives; it’s about restoring dignity to these animals,” Nix explained.

Supported by fans and fellow Broncos players, Puppy Haven has already hosted adoption drives and partnered with local rescue groups.
“I’ve always believed in using my platform for good,” Nix said.
“The biggest victory I can have isn’t in a game—it’s in seeing these little creatures find hope again.”
