Husband Sentenced After Tragic Stabbing of Wife

Man Sentenced to 18 Years for Killing Wife in Phoenix

Stephen Dennis, 36, was sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Aliccia Grant, 37.

The attack occurred just after midnight on September 9, 2024, in a Home Depot parking lot in north Phoenix.

Witnesses heard Grant screaming before she died at the hospital.

Dennis, who was seated beside her during the attack, called 911 and admitted to the crime, leading police to the weapon.

The couple had recently married and were considering an annulment.

County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said the act was “especially cruel,” given the betrayal within a marriage.

Grant, known professionally as Glamazon Makeup, was remembered as a creative entrepreneur and devoted mother.

A GoFundMe raised money for her funeral and children’s future.

Her death has shaken the Phoenix community and underscored the urgent issue of domestic violence.

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
