I Paid for a Homeless Man’s Groceries
Full Circle of Kindness
Emma trudged through the rain, her mother’s words echoing, “Tough times don’t last forever.”
At 23, she was alone after losing her parents in a car crash, struggling to survive on her last $50.
At the grocery store, she saw a hungry man unable to pay for food.
Without hesitation, she said,“I’ll cover it.” He whispered, “You don’t have to.”
Emma smiled. “We all need help sometimes.”
That night, she prayed for the stranger.
The next morning, she faced a job interview—her one chance to start over.
When she entered the office, her breath caught. The man from the store sat at the head of the table.
“Emma, right?” he said, now in a suit. He was the CEO.
“Your kindness reminded me of my late wife’s compassion,” he told her. “The job is yours.”
Her small act of kindness had come full circle.
