Comedy and Television<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raised in Brooklyn, Mulrooney rose during the 1980s comedy boom,<\/p>\n

performing at clubs like Dangerfield\u2019s before becoming a familiar TV presence.<\/p>\n

His career included appearances on An Evening at the Improv<\/em> and<\/p>\n

a brief stint hosting The Late Show<\/em> in 1987 after Joan Rivers\u2019 departure.<\/p>\n

Radio and Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

He later became a radio mainstay and, from 2010 to 2024,<\/p>\n

worked as a police officer.<\/p>\n
