The Phoenix father who maintained he klled a man while<\/p>\n
protecting his daughter had been originally charged with second-degree murder in.<\/p>\n
The incident, which occurred on August 2, 2018, unfolded\u00a0after Harris arrived at the QT near 19th and Dunlap avenues.<\/p>\n
When his\u00a0daughter walked out, she said that a man had tried to enter her locked\u00a0stall in the women\u2019s bathroom.<\/p>\n
Security escorted the man out,and Harris\u2019\u00a0daughter pointed him out.<\/p>\n
Harris approached the security guard and stated\u00a0that he was going to take care of the situation himself.<\/p>\n
According to witnesses,\u00a0Harris punched Leon Armstrong in the face, knocking him to the ground.<\/p>\n
He beat\u00a0him up some more then left. Armstrong suffered a severe brain injury and died a\u00a0few days later.<\/p>\n
