Donald Trump has suggested replacing parts of the Freedom 250 concert series<\/p>\n
with a political rally after several performers withdrew from the celebrations marking America\u2019s upcoming 250th anniversary.<\/p>\n
According to reports, artists including Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, The Commodores, and Young MC distanced themselves from the event, with some saying they were unaware of its political connections.<\/p>\n
Despite the withdrawals, performers such as Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida are still expected to participate, although the final lineup remains uncertain.<\/p>\n
In a post on Truth Social, Trump criticized the departing artists and proposed a different approach.<\/p>\n
He wrote, \u201cWe should have a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for 250, instead of having overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear, whose music is boring, and yet who do nothing but complain.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trump also suggested canceling the concert series altogether, writing, \u201cCancel it.\u201d He later proposed an \u201cAMERICA IS BACK Rally\u201d as an alternative.<\/p>\n
