Joe Biden Receives Radiation and Hormone Therapy for Prostate Cancer

Diagnosis and Treatment

Former President Joe Biden, 82, was diagnosed in May with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer,

after doctors discovered a nodule following urinary symptoms.

His office confirmed the cancer had spread to the bone but remains “hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.”

Health Update

A spokesperson revealed that Biden is currently undergoing radiation and hormone therapy as part of his treatment plan.

Speaking earlier this year, Biden said, “It’s all a matter of taking a pill…

for the next six weeks and then another one. Well, the prognosis is good.”

Public Reaction and Expert Opinions

Biden thanked supporters, saying, “Cancer touches us all… we are strongest in the broken places.”

Medical experts noted the seriousness of bone metastasis but emphasized that

patients often respond well and “can live many years with the diagnosis.”
