Fire Erupts in Marina Pinnacle
A massive fire broke out at the 67-story Marina Pinnacle in Dubai Marina around 9:30 p.m. on Friday. The blaze, captured in dramatic video, took six hours to extinguish.
Evacuation and Support
All 3,820 residents from 764 apartments were safely evacuated. The Dubai Media Office confirmed, “Ambulance teams and medical staff are on site to offer full medical and mental support.”
Residents React
Indian expat Prateek M said, “Neighbours from the next building shouted and told me our tower was on fire.” He added, “We had to hold on to the shoulders of the person in front of us” to escape through the smoke.
Waiting to Return
Another resident, Raza, said, “It was clear that I wouldn’t be able to go in.” He helped others find transport and is “grateful” for his boss’s support during this time. The fire’s cause is still unknown.
