Master P Reflects on Altercation with Pimp C
In a recent Nation of Podcast episode, Master P discussed a long-rumored conflict with fellow rapper Pimp C,
offering insight while respecting Pimp C and his family.
Origins of the Conflict
The dispute began after allegations that Pimp C stole equipment from No Limit Records.
Master P reached out to Pimp C and his mother to resolve things,
but tensions rose when Pimp C publicly dissed him, saying, “F no limit. F Master P.”
This led to a physical confrontation between them.
Acknowledgment and Accountability
Reflecting on the incident, Master P shared, “He called me and said, ‘Man, I’m sorry.
I was on drugs,’” emphasizing the importance of accountability:
“Once you run your mouth, you got to be able to pay for whatever you say.”
Respecting Legacy
Master P chose not to dwell on the details out of respect for Pimp C, stating,
“I never talk about none of that stuff,” highlighting the complexity of relationships and rivalries in hip-hop.
