A 31-year-old motorcyclist died in a tragic crash on SC-390 in Ipira, Santa Catarina, on Saturday, August 7. The accident involved a BMW S1000 RR and a Renault Sandero.

Witnesses said they heard “the engine’s distinctive roar moments before the crash.” According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the motorcyclist “crossed into the opposite lane on a curve,” causing a head-on collision. The BMW was left “a twisted pile of metal.”

Emergency crews stabilized the rider and rushed him to the hospital, but he died shortly after arrival due to severe injuries.
