💖 Natalie Jackson: The Little Superhero
A Joyful Arrival
When Andrew and Lacey Jackson welcomed their baby girl Natalie in 2018,
their happiness quickly turned to worry.
“Then the nurse lifted our girl up… and I saw the big black mark on the left-hand side of her face,”
Lacey recalled. Doctors explained it was just a birthmark, and Natalie was otherwise healthy.
A Family’s Promise
Though relieved, Lacey feared others might only see the mark.
“In that moment, I decided we would love her so much and give her all the confidence in the world,” she said.
Andrew told Natalie’s brothers it was her “superhero mask,” turning her difference into pride.
Living With CMN
Natalie was diagnosed with Congenital Melanocytic Nevi (CMN).
While it carries a slightly higher melanoma risk, doctors reassured the family it was nothing to fear.
Thriving Today
Now thriving, Natalie is “compassionate, caring, intelligent, and incredibly silly.”
To her family, she will always be their gorgeous little superhero.
