No One Showed Up For His Birthday So
A Lonely Birthday
Six-year-old Teddy’s only wish was to share pizza with his classmates.
But when his mom, Sil Mazzini, hosted a party at Peter Piper Pizza in Tucson, none of the 32 invited families showed up.
“I’m done with parties for a while,” Mazzini told KNXV.
A photo of Teddy sitting alone at the table quickly went viral.
Kindness From Strangers
Messages of support poured in online. “People are flaky and inconsiderate sometimes…
That doesn’t mean you aren’t great,” one woman wrote.
A local exterminator even offered Teddy a free ride in his “mouse limo.”
Surprises From the Pros
The Phoenix Suns invited Teddy to a game against LeBron James’ Lakers, tweeting,
“How about we celebrate with thousands at our place!”
Phoenix Rising soccer team also offered him a custom jersey and playoff tickets.
Mixed Reactions Online
While many cheered the kindness, some criticized Mazzini for posting Teddy’s disappointment publicly.
