Obama May Be Forced to Testify Under Oath
Investigative journalist John Solomon says former President Barack Obama can now be subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury and cannot invoke the Fifth Amendment due to past presidential immunity. “He’ll have to tell the truth,” Solomon said. “If he lies as a private citizen about what he did as President, he’ll no longer have that immunity.”
Flynn Meeting Sparks Legal Risk
Solomon claims Obama led a 2017 meeting where officials allegedly schemed to trap Mike Flynn into lying. “They came up with the idea: ‘We’ll lure him into an interview, catch him in a lie, and then prosecute him,’” he said.
A Similar Trap?
Solomon warned, “Barack Obama is now about to face a potentially similar situation.”
Political Reactions
While Trump called Obama “guilty” of treason, Democrats urged him to avoid the spotlight, dismissing GOP efforts as political theater amid unrelated controversies.
