Sean Duffy and Rachel Campos-Duffy’s journey
From MTV to Marriage
Before his political career, Sean Duffy met Rachel Campos through MTV’s Road Rules: All Stars in 1998.
At first, Rachel joked that Sean spent the trip “flirting,” but he persisted with calls and visits.
Over breakfast five months later, Rachel told him, “I’m going to marry you.” They wed in 1999.
A Family of Nine
The Duffys now have nine children: Evita, Xavier, Lucia-Belen, John-Paul, Paloma, MariaVictoria, Margarita, Patrick, and Valentina.
“They just kind of happened,” Rachel once said, calling each child “a blessing from God.”
Their youngest, Valentina, was born with Down syndrome and a heart defect, leading Sean to resign from Congress in 2019 to prioritize family.
Faith at the Center
Devout Catholics, the Duffys say faith anchors their marriage.
“Our family is only as strong as our marriage,” Rachel explained.
A Lasting Love Story
From reality TV to politics and media, the couple remain committed partners—balancing public life with family and faith.
