Elizabeth Taylor: A Hollywood Legend and Her Last Love

Elizabeth Taylor, born in London in 1932, began acting as a child and became one of Hollywood’s greatest stars,

winning two Academy Awards and starring in classics like Cleopatra.

Despite fame, she said, “I was used from the day I was a child and utilized by the studio.”

Her personal life drew as much attention as her career.

Married eight times, she wed construction worker Larry Fortensky in 1991 after meeting him at the Betty Ford Clinic.

“We had an instant physical attraction,” Fortensky said.

Their marriage ended in 1996, but they remained close friends. “I love her.

I always will,” he told Daily Mail. Taylor died in 2011 at 79, leaving Fortensky over $500,000 in her will to “honor their friendship.”

The rest of her fortune went to her four children,

while proceeds from her jewelry and perfumes benefited The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
