Rodeo Star Spencer Wright Mourns Son’s Tragic Death
Rodeo cowboy Spencer Wright and his family are grieving the loss of their three-year-old son, Levi Wright, after a tragic accident near their Utah home.
Levi had accidentally driven a toy tractor into a river and was carried about a mile downstream before being found unconscious by local police.
He was rushed to a Salt Lake City hospital with a severe brain injury.
Initially, doctors declared Levi brain dead, but his mother, Kallie Wright, shared brief moments of hope.
“LEVI AWARENESS!” she wrote on Facebook, describing him as “really tough.”
However, MRI results later revealed little chance of recovery.
“It’s just pictures, but we are broken,” Kallie added, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
After days of prayer and consultation with neurologists, the Wrights made the painful decision to remove Levi from life support on June 2.
Family friend Mindy Sue Clark confirmed his passing the following day, calling Levi “the most amazing three-year-old I’ve ever met” and noting that he “introduced light into a very dark planet.”
The community has rallied around the Wright family, sending messages of love, prayers, and support as they grieve while celebrating the brief but profound joy Levi brought to their lives.
