Sylvester Stallone’s Heartbreaking Loss of Sage Stallone
Sylvester Stallone, known for his resilience as “Rocky Balboa,” endured a personal tragedy in 2012 when his eldest son,
Sage Stallone, passed away at 36. Sage, a film enthusiast and actor who appeared in Rocky V and Daylight,
had undergone major dental surgery two weeks prior.
Despite warnings from his mother, Sasha Czack
, Sage proceeded with the procedure, and atherosclerosis ultimately led to a fatal heart attack.
Rumors initially speculated on substance abuse or suicide,
but Sage’s attorney clarified he “didn’t drink alcohol and had no history of substance abuse,”
and suicide was ruled out. Painkillers were found in his system, but not in dangerous amounts.
The loss devastated Stallone, who described Sage as the “center of our universe.”
