Whether Family of Charlie Kirk’s Accused Ki.ller

A Reward Surges Past $1 Million

The manhunt for Charlie Kirk’s killer sparked outrage and a reward fund that grew to more than $1.2 million.

Donors included Trump adviser Alex Bruesewitz, activist Robby Starbuck, and billionaire Bill Ackman, who pledged $1 million himself.

The Suspect in Custody

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on September 10 during a Utah Valley University event.

The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was arrested after his father reportedly recognized him in FBI images.

A family friend later contacted authorities, suggesting Robinson had confessed.

Can Family Claim the Reward?

Speculation arose about whether Robinson’s father could collect the payout.

Ackman insisted, “we will pay the reward if it is earned to whomever the FBI indicates provided the information,”

but noted negligence or complicity would void eligibility.

Who Earned It?

The FBI will decide whether the father or the friend provided the decisive lead.

Donors pledged to follow that ruling.
