With heavy hearts, we announce the passing.
Dr. Kimberly Nix’s Farewell
Dr. Kimberly Nix, a Canadian doctor who shared her battle with metastatic sarcoma online, has died three years after her diagnosis. She was 28 when first diagnosed and in the final year of her internal medicine residency.
Final Video Message
Her last TikTok, posted May 8, began: “Hello followers, if you’re seeing this message, I have died peacefully.” Sitting on her bathroom floor filming a “get ready with me,” she reflected on her life: “I had a beautiful life. I’m so proud of it.”

Love and Loss
Nix grew emotional speaking of her husband, calling him the “love of my life.” She added: “The only thing that makes me sad about dying is that we didn’t get to grow old together.”
Legacy and Gratitude
She urged donations to sarcoma research, thanking her supporters: “This community has meant the world to me… TikTok, I will miss you. I love all of you.”
