Disturbing Footage Shows Ex-NFL
Former NFL running back Zac Stacy, who played for the New York Jets and St. Louis Rams,
is facing serious allegations after surveillance footage appeared to show him assaulting his former partner.
The incident, which allegedly occurred in Florida and in the presence of a child,
has prompted an active police investigation. Authorities confirmed that Stacy
has been urged to cooperate with law enforcement, while the woman involved has filed for a protective order,
citing fear for her safety and her child’s.

Stacy, 30, played college football at Vanderbilt before joining the NFL,
later retiring in 2017 due to injuries.
Following the release of the footage, organizations including the
TransPerfect Music City Bowl cut ties with him, and the NFL Alumni Association
condemned domestic violence in a public statement.

The case has reignited conversations about athlete accountability
and domestic abuse awareness.
Advocates stress that professional sports figures must be held to the same legal and moral standards as anyone else.
