Multiple Emergencies in One Morning

“The Los Angeles Fire Department confronted a demanding series of emergencies

on the morning of December 4, 2025,” responding to three structure fires across Woodland Hills,

Boyle Heights, and Granada Hills within hours.

Woodland Hills High-Rise

The first call came at “7:34 a.m.” at a 17-story building on Canoga Avenue. F

irefighters found residual smoke but no active flames.

“Three workers were discovered with significant burn injuries” and transported to hospitals.

Crews ventilated the building and coordinated with city agencies to prevent escalation.

Boyle Heights Commercial Fire

About 30 minutes later, crews arrived at a Pico Avenue property with flames visible.

Facing “substantial fire load” and hazardous conditions, firefighters used a defensive strategy.

Around “90 firefighters” contained the blaze, protecting nearby structures.

Granada Hills School Site

At “10:05 a.m.,” a roof fire broke out at a high school construction site.

The fire was confined to the roof and controlled in “26 minutes,” with no hospital transports needed.
