White House issues scathing response to Mark

Golden Globes Statement

At the 2026 Golden Globes, Mark Ruffalo wore a “BE GOOD” pin honoring Renee Nicole Good,

who was fatally shot by an ICE officer during a January raid.

On the red carpet, he used the moment to voice political criticism.

Criticism of Leaders

Ruffalo accused Vice President JD Vance of lying and claimed the U.S. is in “an illegal war with Venezuela.”

He then attacked Donald Trump, calling him “the worst human being”

and warning that trusting his morality would endanger the country.

Legal Context

Trump was convicted in 2024 on 34 felony counts tied to business records.

A civil jury also found him liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll,

though he has never been charged with pedophilia.

Official Response

White House official Steven Cheung dismissed Ruffalo as

“one of the worst actors in the business,”

while DHS defended the ICE officer’s actions.
