Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, longtime friends and co-stars, jokingly suggest they might be “accidentally married.”
On the set of 1992’s Dracula, they filmed a wedding scene with a real Romanian priest in an actual church.
Reeves said, “We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests,” while Ryder added,
“I swear to God, I think we’re married in real life.”
“So I Guess We’re Married”
Reeves joked, “Winona says we are. Coppola says we are. So I guess we’re married, under the eyes of God.”
Director Francis Ford Coppola admitted, “We actually did the ceremony and had the priest do the ceremony…
So in a sense, Keanu and Winona really are married.”
